Participants were welcomed at Eiwitcampus by Marco Smits, who gave a brief introduction about the campus and our vision to support a sustainable food system.
Next, Robert Hermens from the short-chain organization Goei Gerei took the floor. He shared insights into their mission to make locally produced food more accessible, as well as the challenges and strengths of short supply chains. Of course, participants also got to taste some of the regional products!
Finally, Basic Theory presented their work and explained how their products pair perfectly with other regional specialties.
We look back on a successful day full of knowledge sharing, inspiration, and great connections. A big thank you to AgriFood Capital and De AgroProeftuin Noordoost-Brabant for this opportunity to contribute!
